How long does it take to process and receive my order?

Please allow approximately 1 business day to process your order. We ship via UPS ground which will get your package to you between 1 - 6 business days (after processing time), depending on where you live (Western US typically 1-2 days; MidWest about 4 days and Eastern US about 5 days). This also allows us to track the status of your package.
If you need a last minute romantic gift shipped to you (your anniversary is THIS weekend) and require special arrangements for faster shipping, please contact us and we will do everything possible to expedite your order (additional fee may apply). Smaller gift items and orders that do not include our decorative hat box are shipped USPS Priority mail and arrive within 2-3 days after processing time.

I don't know anything about designing a hotel room for romance. If I order one of your Romance Inside A Box products, will I really be able to decorate the room so that it looks nice?

Yes. Design instructions (view example) are included and the photos on the website can help guide you as well. The hardest part is finding the right products and all of that hard work has been done for you. You can also contact one of our customer service representatives for advice. For men: lots of guys have ordered our products and have been able to get the job done!

Currently we can ship to anywhere in the United States only. Items may also be shipped to Canada for a slight additional fee.

For most of our Romance Inside A Box orders, we ship UPS Ground and charge the appropriate amount which is typically between $8 - $15. Expedited shipping is available at an additional charge.

What is your return policy?

We take extra special care in shipping out your gift boxes. However, the delivery is not always perfect. Claims on any damaged goods (Romance Inside A Box only) must be made within (7) days of receipt of goods. Authorized returns by Romantic Room Designs must be sent back to Romantic Room Designs at 5015 Beachwood Drive, Seaside, CA 93955, for product replacement only. We will provide you with a prepaid UPS mailing label. Please contact us at sales@romanticroomdesigns.com to initiate a return.
Your Romance Inside A Box order can be shipped either to your home (or office) by ordering online or calling us directly. We can also ship your box directly to your hotel of choice anywhere in the United States. Here is how it works:
Contact us by phone at toll free 1.888.871.3248 extension 1 to place your order.
Provide us with the name of your hotel and the date of your stay and we will confirm, in advance of your purchase, that the hotel will decorate your guest room with our Romance Inside A Box. In our experience, the nicer hotels will definitely do this as a guest service.
Once we confirm this service is available we will contact you to process your order.
Your box will be shipped to an exact contact person at your hotel and will arrive, in most cases, two full days in advance of your check-in date.
We will follow up on the day the shipment arrives to confirm with the hotel and we do request that you also contact the hotel on this one occasion to firm up your exact arrival time to the hotel. Once the box is signed for by the hotel, they will now be your official contact.
All you need to do is show up and your room will be decorated and ready to go!
Note: There is a nominal $10 additional fee to ship and coordinate for a hotel order. Although it is not mandatory, the concierge or hotel personnel that decorate your room may enjoy a gratuity based on your overall satisfaction with the room and décor. Some hotels, especially historic inns, do not allow real candles. In these cases, we will substitute flicker candles in frosted votives (they look great, they are safe and can be "lit" prior to your arrival).
