Q: When I went to pay (add to cart) the shopping cart did not come up and/or nothing happened.
A: In some cases if you have your pop-up blocker enabled, the payment window will not open. You would just need to disable your blocking of pop up windows by going into your browsers preferences and unselecting that preference.
Q: How soon can I get my order and can I delay shipping?
A: We process within one day and ship out the next business day. Items are shipped USPS Priority Mail and generally arrive within 2-3 business days. You can also delay the shipping of an item by filling in the Ship To Date field. For example, if you want a gift item sent to someone for Valentine's Day - instead of them receiving it weeks before the special occasion. Items can also be sent Overnight/Express by clicking on the corresponding link on the gift item page.
Q: How safely is the item packaged?
A: Each item is hand packed and fragile item are over-wrapped in bubble paper. Since we shipped out our first item in April, 2006, we have not had even one occurrence of breakage (and only one return).
Q: I was having trouble paying for my item.
A: PayPal is the most recognized and secure online payment system in the world (used by E-Bay). However, you do NOT need to register with them to make your payment. You can also avoid signing up for Pay Pal by clicking on the "continue" link on the payment page that says "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available). Continue." Please note that PayPal is very stringent about allowing the use of debit cards. For your protection, they may refuse to take a debit card if they feel the transactions is suspicious in any way. In that event, you can contact us directly to make payment at toll free 1.888.871.3248 extension 1. Please note that certain credit card payments can be blocked by your corporate or government firewall. For best results, items should be purchased with a personal credit card.
Q: I don't feel comfortable doing my transaction online.
A: Our site is hosted by PowWeb, a secure hosting site protected by a company called HackerSafe. PayPal is the most trusted name in payment systems. However, if you would prefer to make a payment over the phone, please feel free to contact us at toll free 1.888.871.3248 ext. 1
Q: I want to keep this gift as a surprise. Is the box plain or will he/she know that it is coming from Romantic Room Designs?
A: Our shipping boxes are unmarked but the postage slip does include our company name in the return address. Just let us know in the comments section and we can delete our company name from the shipping label.
Q: Will I Get A Tracking Number with my order?
A: Yes - when the item ships you will be sent an email notification along with a tracking number.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: For most of our gift items, we ship USPS Priority Maili and charge the appropriate amount which is typically between $6.95 - $8.95. We do not pad our shipping fees or charge a handling fee - you are charged what we are charged.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We take extra special care in shipping out your gift boxes. However, the delivery is not always perfect. Claims on any damaged goods (Romance Inside A Box only) must be made within (7) days of receipt of goods. Authorized returns by Romantic Room Designs must be sent back to Romantic Room Designs at 5015 Beachwood Drive, Seaside, CA 93955, for product replacement only.
